Hi there, I'm Jacqulyn (please just call me Jac) and as long as I can remember, I have been a creative... A painter,a drawer and even an occasional sculptor.
I discovered Photography one teenage day in the late 1980's when my Dad gave me his old Zenit Film camera. I was completely hooked. After a false career start in Architecture and Interior design in the 1990's I came back to what I loved and began photographing again after the birth of my daughter. And that...as they say..was that... I have been photographing professionally ever since. Through the years I have been lucky enough to be placed in many high profile photographic competitions and have been published many times over since those early experiments with film cameras.
These days, my true love is Portraits...I literally can't take enough of them. I think it stems from my early days of studying photography and seeing that one magical, beautifully lit, perfectly composed frame delveloping in front of my eyes in the gloom of the Darkroom. It's a kind of perfection addiction I think ;)
Children's portraits, Families, Lifestyle and now Bridal and Wedding Portraiture all provide me with endless photo opportunities to do what I love. If you would like to commission me for a photo shoot then get in touch-I love new faces, locations and challenges.
I can also help individuals and businesses with personal branding through photography as well as creating beautiful promotional and advertorial imagery for schools and companies.
I am CRB (enhanced disclosure) checked and fully insured for your peace of mind.
